Jon and I chose this festival for a couple of reasons - it was over the course of a weekend, seemed reasonably priced, and we would be able to see the North Mississippi Allstars and R.L.Burnside. It didn't quite work out that way. We did get to see NMA, but RL was not allowed to participate because of a clogged artery. In addition, it rained very hard on Saturday and Sunday making for a less enjoyable experience. In fact, Jon thinks Missouri should be called "The Soak Me State".

The North Mississippi Allstars put on a great performance. This was my first time seeing them live. Jon, dad, and I were all impressed with the guitar playing. I was able to take some video footage.
