Apple Leopard
Some of the things in Leopard have sort of grown on me. Other things seem harder to break with the old ways. I don't like new dock to much in appearance or functionality, so I'm finally moving to the sidebar dock. Strangely, it looks better on the side bar. Likewise, the sublime addition of tabs to Terminal almost went unnoticed and I don't seem myself changing from many windows to single windows. I don't like the transparent menu bar and there is a program to set it back to opaque. Other features are revealing themselves with enough time. For instance, you can finally control grid spacing with out knowing about defaults in the Finder. The flat folder icons seem very, very SE/30 System IV (See Apple Systems in pictorial systems). I don't care about the folder icon much, it's just weird to see. Anyways, I stumbled on this document which finally explains the 300 features I'm supposed to enjoy.

300 Features

The new help system is really quite interesting. The Help menu includes a search box. I fat-fingered some key combination and got a Quick Launch window. I couldn't figure out what it was. So I type "quick" in the search box and a floating pointer arrow flashes on screen and shows me where the key stroke is. I don't know if everyone would get 100% success on every help search, but this was dead on.
