I joined the iPod generation in a limited fashion. My wife owned a very early iPod and I would borrow it when painting the house or doing odd chores. It was disk based and eventually, it just locked up. I got her a short and stubby Nano and I picked up the Shuffle. I like music. I like audio gear. But really, the Shuffle is all I really need. I wanted a device to play audio books for my commute.
