Kitchen Paint

I found myself alone one weekend and realized that it would be a good time to paint the kitchen. I had acquired the paint when we painted the big rooms in the house. We got Tamarind on sale at Sherwin Williams and picked out "Butter Up" for the kitchen. Remarkably, Sherwin Williams expresses Butter Up in HTML RGB color codes as FBE6AF. Here's what your browser thinks that color is:

My parents came over and my Dad worked in the back yard while Mom cleaned the blinds. I did all of the painting myself and it went very well. The semi-gloss coats better than the satin finish we used in the big rooms, so I didn't need to repaint sections. The kitchen ceiling is the same colour as the walls (and was that way when we bought the house, so I continued the tradition).

I had to spackle some holes left after the new refrigerator was put in place and I pulled the old cabinets out for the wine glass rack.
