Bang & Olufsen have been the style kings of Hi-Fi for decades. Apple have been the style kings of PCs for at least two decades. Do they influence each other?

Bang & Olfusen released a home integration project called BeoLink. Apple released a new WiFi router. Both show their new wireless wares in a similar virtual flat.

It seems Apple may be the follower in this case because the speakers next to the viewing panel look a lot like the iconic BeoLab 6000 or the BeoLab 8000 ( 6, 8 ).

They are remarkably similar in size and layout. I created this simple overlay that shows their orientation, scale, and dimensions are very similar.
